Admission
Where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets can purchased any time here on our website. Just click on any "Buy Now" button. They can also be purchased at our Fair Office inside Marathon Park during our regular business hours, and at ticket outlets around the county during July.
What do I get with my admission ticket?
A lot! You get to join other fair-goers in experiencing the annual county fair tradition. This includes the see the farm animals, adult and youth projects, commercial vendors, Exhibition Building contests and entertainment. Also, you receive general admission seating to our grandstand entertainment Tuesday through Friday.
Parking
Do I have to park inside the Fair?
No! Street parking is available around the park, as well as, parking for sale in the John Muir Middle School parking lot (across Stewart Avenue), and the UWMC parking lot (East of the Park).
Where can I park in Marathon Park?
Public parking is available West of the Stewart Avenue entrance and in the outfield, south of the Grandstand. Commercial vendors and Junior Fair exhibitors and leaders, have other designated parking areas.
Can I re-enter with a daily admission ticket?
Due to limited space, daily parking passes DO NOT allow re-entry. If you are arriving and leaving multiple times, we would recommend the season parking pass which can be purchased in advance, and at the gates.
Is there handicap accessible parking?
Yes! There are limited handicap accessible spots in the parking lot north of East Gate Hall, inside Gate 3. There are also spots in the front of the outfield parking lot. If these are filled, we recommend entering Gate 3 and dropping off the patron in front of East Gate hall before finding a parking space.
Grandstand Entertainment
Do I have to have a VIP ticket?
No. General admission seating in the permanent seats, on the grass berms, and on the ground level is included with your fair admission. We offer VIP tickets, which guarantee you a seat, are on ground level, and are closest to the stage.
Do you have designated handicap accessible VIP seats?
We do not have specific designated VIP seats, which allows us to work more with the individual patron. If you want to request handicap accessible seats, we will work with you to try and find an aisle seat, where we can remove the chair(s) to accommodate the patron. We do have designated wheelchair and companion seating in our amphitheater.
Commercial Vendors
I would like to be a vendor, what is the first step?
No matter who it is, the first step to become a vendor is to fill out a vendor application. This will give us the necessary information to see if you would be unique to our event, and contact information to send you a contract, if you are approved.
When do you start booking vendors?
We always accept vendor applications. We send out "Initial Intent to Return" letters in November. Based on those responses, we will reach out in the beginning of the year. Vendor contracts go out the first week of February, and on a rolling basis until the fair, as new vendors are added.
Is indoor or outdoor space better?
Both indoor and outdoor spaces provide great opportunities for businesses--it all depends on the needs and target market of the individual vendor. Please fill out the vendor application, and we can work with you to find the best fit.
